Kate and I had some time to kill on Sunday so we pointed our car to Haddonfield, NJ. Kate read about it in the paper and it was highly touted as a Christmas shopping location. The town is not unlike TV’s Gilmore Girls’ village of Stars Hollow. Or New Hope with wider sidewalks. There were a ton of little shops that kept us busy for probably a couple of hours. The local Chamber of Commerce sponsored some advertising, drawing the shopping public to the downtown area. It worked. It was a pretty lively scene that included a DJ and Santa Claus.
We particularly enjoyed a few antique shops that we wondered into.
